Visual Brand Identity: Giving Retail Analytics Shelf Appeal 🙄

 

Project Overview

Shelftrak is a rapidly growing retail analytics company that leverages advanced AI to transform shelf data into measurable commercial growth. Trusted by global industry leaders like Mondeléz, they use their deep industry expertise alongside proprietary cutting-edge AI technology to help brands and stores continuously optimise space, distribution, execution, and pricing.

Originally a division of a successful travel retail consumer and shopper research company, Shelftrak was spun-off into a standalone business to enable both companies to focus and build on their core expertise and offerings.

Shortly before the split, the leadership of the Shelftrak team approached me to design a logo and visual brand identity that would differentiate them from their competitors.

I provided the brand with a bold logo, vibrant colour palette and typography rules to ensure memorability and recognisability in an increasingly crowded marketplace.

Along with the visual brand identity and logo, a new, standalone website and blog was required with a requirement that it would be built on the client's existing infrastructure rather than a third-party website builder to take advantage of the hosting they already had in place for the Shelftrak platform itself.
